Logan – Guitarist and Lifelong Student of the Song
Logan carries a quarter-century of musical experience shaped by late nights, early influences, and a constant drive to improve. He first picked up the guitar at 17, just as he was heading off to college, a decision that would set the course for a lifetime of creative exploration. Today he plays lead guitar for Fleeting Time, weaving together a sound that draws from 90s alternative, blues, 60s and 70s rock, and even touches of jazz.
Logan credits his bandmate Mike as the spark that pushed him toward a life in music, alongside the deep inspiration of his father’s record collection and artists like John Mayer, Mike McCready, Mike Einziger, George Harrison, and JJ Cale. Those influences can be heard in his playing: melodic leads that prioritize feel over flash, always in service of the song, a principle he’s made his primary goal.
Logan and Fleeting Time have brought their music to a range of local stages, including the American Legion, the Elks Club, and the House Jones Summer Stage. Whether he’s performing stripped-down acoustic sets or plugging in for a full band sound, Logan approaches every show with the same philosophy: keep growing, keep refining, and let the music speak.
