Jake Odle

Jacob Odle – Keys, Bass & Rhythm Guitar for Fleeting Time , Jake brings a producer’s instinct and a multi-instrumentalist’s touch to Fleeting Time. Though he’s now the band’s keyboard and bass player, his musical journey started unexpectedly not with a traditional instrument, but with GarageBand. A friend recognized his growing interest in production and singing, and pushed him to learn the tools behind the tracks. Jake had picked up piano, guitar, and eventually bass, weaving together the R&B, folk, and alt-rock sounds that define his style today. Inspired by an eclectic mix of artists King Krule’s raw atmosphere, Neil Young’s songwriting, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ groove, and Stevie Wonder’s harmonic depth, Jacob approaches every riff and chord change with curiosity. His goal is simple but relentless: commit to constant learning and always strive to improve. That mindset has taken him to more stages than he can name, shaping him into a player who listens as much as he leads. When he’s not holding down the low end or crafting keyboard textures for Fleeting Time, Jake can usually be found digging into rap and hip-hop his favorite genres to just listen to and absorb. Those rhythms and production techniques inevitably find their way back into his playing, making him a bridge between the band’s organic rock roots and a sharper, more modern edge.
